As has become tradition, Frangus once again took part in SAGALEXPO, held in Lisbon last April. During the event, we had the opportunity to offer visitors a taste of our chicken and our full range of ready-meals to those who were not yet familiar with us. It was also a special occasion to reconnect with clients and strengthen relationships built over the years.

In fact, our stand almost became a second home, inviting many visitors to stop by and enjoy a pleasant lunch break.

We took advantage of this national showcase to introduce our clients (and many new visitors) to our new “Ginger”: Migas de Cenoura à Algarvia (“Migas” of carrot, chickpea, cornbread crumbs Algarve style). Carrot, chickpeas and cornbread crumbs, combined with a subtle touch of acidity, create a balanced combination full of flavour, texture and personality.

Driven by the constant desire to evolve that defines Frangus, this new recipe strengthens our range of side dishes, joining the already well-known Migas de Couve e Broa. Both pair perfectly with our Roast Chicken, but can also be enjoyed as a delicious vegetarian meal.

We continue to innovate and follow market trends, developing solutions that meet the needs and expectations of today’s consumers while making everyday routines easier. And the reaction could not have been better: everyone who tasted it approved!
